Boss hails Dalla Valle impact aftr two goals and two wins

Steve Davis says his new loan signing Lauri Dalla Valle has had the desired effect since agreeing to come to us for a month from his parent club Fulham. The Finland Under-21 striker scored with virtually his first touch away at Doncaster Rovers in a super 2-0 win and then followed that up with the first of our three against Colchester United on Saturday.


Lauri was also involved in the spot-kick awarded for handball as he tried to get his head onto Matt Tootle’s cross into the box. Defender Magnus Okunoghae handled and Luke Murphy slotted home the leveller before Mathias Pogba nodded home a Byron Moore cross to seal a famous comeback.



Steve admits he has not discussed extending his loan deal as yet, especially with the likes of Max Clayton and Ryan Colcolough returning to full training and AJ Leitch-Smith not far off a return to light training following his ankle injury.
