Osman and Turton ruled out for Bury clash

Crewe Alexandra’s in-form midfilelder Abdul Osman has been ruled out of this weekend’s home game with Bury after twisting his right knee against Preston North End. Osman was outstanding in the club’s 3-1 and they performance came on the back of his man-of-the-match display against Doncaster Rovers in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.

. ndThe knee is not to be severe and he has a chance of facing Bournemouth at Gresty Road on December 22

Crewe have also been dealt a blow with the news that Ollie Turton is out with a thigh strain. The versatile youngster tried to train on Thursday but reported discomfort yesterday. The Alex staff expect the Academy graduate to be fit and available for the Cherries.

On the plus side, strikers AJ Leitch-Smith and Lauri Dalla Valle and defender Kelvin Mellor have all trained this week and are available for selection.
