Crewe Alexandra can confirm that they have extended the loan of Fulham forward Lauri Dalla Valle for a further month. The Finnish striker has impressed during his first month in South Cheshire and will now be with the Railwaymen until Tuesday January 8th.

The Fulham man has already netted four goals in an Alex shirt, including one just a few minutes in to his debut at Doncaster Rovers, as well as a match-winning brace in Crewe’s 2-0 victory over Crawley Town.

Although he missed Crewe’s excellent 3-1 win over Preston on Saturday with a foot injury, he is expected to return to training this week and should be in contention to return to the Alex side for this weekend’s game with Bury.
