Crewe Alexandra secured the services of Tariq Uwakwe from Chelsea FC in January 2022.

Tariq, 22, joined Chelsea’s illustrious academy setup at the age of eight and represented them at each stage until under-23 level. 

The former Blues youngster who can operate in midfield and defence became David Artell's second winter signing.
