Owen is the nephew of current Player Development Manager, Kenny Lunt, who is well-known to Crewe supporters for his long-standing association with the Football Club.

Hoping to replicate a similar career to his uncle, Owen has been handed an official first-team number for the first time despite only being a second-year scholar.

The academy youngster will be looking to take any opportunities he is given with both hands.
