Charlie is a technical and crafty player who operates in midfield and has an eye for goal.

The academy graduate signed his first professional contract in the summer of 2022 and will be looking to follow in the footsteps of older brother Oli Finney by gaining regular first-team experience.

He made his first team debut in the Carabao Cup First Round fixture away at Grimsby Town.
