Ireland under-21 international Connor O’Riordan is another exciting prospect that has been produced by the Alex academy.

Making his first team debut in December 2021, he's made over 30 appearances in red and white – putting his authority in defence and performing to a standard beyond his age group.

Spending the first half of the 2022/23 season at Scottish Championship side Raith Rovers, O’Riordan returned to the Alex and became a mainstay in the starting XI.
