Udoh joined Crewe Alexandra in March 2016 for an undisclosed fee from Ilkeston FC on a deal until summer 2018.

The 21-year-old had come through the ranks at Stevenage, but wasn’t offered pro terms so plied his trade in the non-league circuit with Kidderminster, Worcester, Grays Athletic and Wingate & Finchley before finding his feet at Ilkeston.

Netting eight goals for the Club during 2015/16, Crewe moved swiftly to tie the striker down after scouting him for a period of time.
