A talented goalkeeper who won back-to-back Player of the Season awards for The Alex for 2014/15 and 2015/16 after making his major breakthrough during the 2013/14 campaign.

Arguably the most talented goalkeeper the Club has ever had in its academy, the 24-year-old was a regular in the England youth squads and was in the U17 squad for the 2011 World Cup in Mexico.

He continued to impress for the Club’s U21 side during the 2012/13 season, before making his Crewe debut on the final day of the 2012-13 season as he started in the Academy XI against Walsall.

Garratt capped a fine 2013/14 campaign by being named the club’s Breakthrough Player of the Season and followed that up by being named the Players’ Player and Player of the Season the following year before again scooping the Player of the Season award last campaign.

The 6ft stopper has gone from strength to strength, holding firmly onto the number one spot for 2015/16, 2016/17 & 2017/18 with now over 200 professional appearances to his name.
