Crewe Alexandra have completed the loan signing of midfielder Lewis Leigh.

The 20-year-old has penned a deal from Championship side Preston North End until the end of the season.

Leigh, a strong competitor and a skilled passer, has spent three months on loan at Bromley this term.

There, he made 14 appearances as the Greater London side challenged right at the top of the National League.

Leigh began his career within the youth ranks at Liverpool, where he played alongside new Alex teammates Joel Tabiner, Harvey Davies and Lewis Billington.

At 14, he switched to Preston where he has made impressive strides, making his Championship debut in April 2023.

Leigh will wear the number 14 shirt during his time at Mornflake Stadium.
