Crewe Alexandra are delighted to anounce that Lewis Billington has penned a new contract with the Club.

The homegrown defender, who joined Crewe at the age of six, has been rewarded for a series of impressive performances for Lee Bell’s side.

The 19-year-old, who penned a one-year deal last summer, has now extended his stay to summer 2025, with the option of a further 12 months.

Billington, from Sandbach, has made 16 of his 17 first-team appearances this season. He has started in each of the last nine fixtures - operating all across defence as well as in midfield.
