Crewe Alexandra are thrilled to announce that Joel Tabiner has signed a new and improved contract with the club.

The homegrown midfielder has penned a fresh three-year deal which runs to summer 2026. And it includes an option for a further 12 months.

Tabiner, 19, who has four assists to his name already this term, joined the club as an Under-12 and made impressive progress through the youth ranks.

Now the talented left-footer is emerging as a key man for Lee Bell’s side and is closing in on 50 first-team appearances.

Tabiner said: "I'm really happy. I'm enjoying my football and the team is doing well so there was no reason not to sign a new contract.

"I've been here since I was 11 and everybody is close. The way we play suits me and I just want to keep improving and keep getting better." 

Manager Lee Bell said: “I’m really pleased that the club has rewarded Joel for his hard work and progress. It’s well deserved.

“He’s a great lad who has been with us for a long time and I've no doubt he will continue to give everything to improve and help the team.”
