Crewe Alexandra Women are delighted to announce the signing of 27-year-old Katie Gibbons.

Matt Fisher has wasted no time in bolstering his squad ahead of the 23/24 season with the signing of the Trentham born winger.

Katie, who made 46 appearances over the last two seasons in the FA Womens National League, finished the season with over 15 assists and will add that extra firepower that the Alex crave.

After finishing top scorer in her first season in the National league for her former club, the tricky wide forward will offer a real attacking threat for Matt Fisher's side.

Speaking on the move, Katie said: “I’m really excited for this new part of my football journey and I am looking forward to what we can achieve this season.

“When I met Matt I just knew that this club was going places and I needed to be a part of it.”
