Christopher Long has signed a new one-year contract with Crewe Alexandra.
The striker, who scored three goals in six starts at the end of last season, has quickly recommitted to the club for 2023-24.
The former Everton man and England Under-20 international joined The Railwaymen on a two-year deal in summer 2021, and hit double figures in League One despite a disappointing campaign which ended in relegation.
Last term was marred by injury, but the 28-year-old again showed his quality when he returned to action, teeing up several goals for teammates as well as netting himself.
Now Long, who has also played for the likes of Burnley, Fleetwood, Blackpool, and Motherwell, will lead the Alex’s attack when we return in August.
Everybody at Crewe Alexandra would like to wish Christopher all the very best for the next 12 months.
