Lee Bell is hopeful that positive solutions can be found for transfer-listed duo Dave Richards and Billy Sass-Davies.
The Manager has made the pair available for moves away, after discussions with the players themselves.
He says both Richards and Sass-Davies are keen to start fresh chapters elsewhere, after many years of good service to Crewe Alexandra.
Bell said: “We spoke to them and explained what we feel is best for them, so they have gone on the transfer list which means we can circulate their names.
“I hope for all parties we can get something sorted. We are helping them to do that.”
Keeper Richards joined Crewe in 2015 and has made 94 appearances for the club. An unfortunate injury on the eve of last season meant he missed the chance to start as number one, and his appearances were limited due to the form of loan duo Arthur Okonkwo and James Beadle.
Defender Sass-Davies, a Wales Under-21 international, progressed through the academy ranks and made his first-team debut in 2017. He has made 48 appearances for the Alex, and spent the end of last term on loan at Woking.
