Crewe Alexandra can confirm Charlie Finney will be joining Chorley on an initial one-month loan.

Finney, who has featured on nine occasions for the first team this season, will link up with Andy Pearce’s side in the National League North as they aim to secure a play-off place come the end of the season.

The Magpies currently sit 7th in the National League North on 52 points, with 11 games to go.

Whilst Finney has already had a taste of first team football with the Alex, the youngster will have the opportunity to develop further in the non-league with Chorley.
