Crewe Alexandra are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Jack Powell from Crawley Town.

The creative 29-year-old joins on an initial two-year deal, with an option for a further 12 months included in the agreement.

Powell came through the ranks at West Ham before joining Millwall, where he spent three years. After spells at Ebbsfleet and Maidstone, he joined Crawley in 2019.

He made 151 appearances for the Reds, scoring nine goals. Last term, he netted four times and got five assists on his way to the club’s Player of the Season award.

Powell follows keeper Harvey Davies, full-back Ryan Cooney, and winger Shilow Tracey, in joining Lee Bell’s men during this transfer window.
