Crewe Alexandra can confirm that Rod McDonald will leave the club this summer.

The 31-year-old defender, who arrived at Mornflake Stadium last summer, appeared in 36 of our 52 games last season.

Manager Lee Bell said: "Rod has been outstanding and totally professional throughout his time at the club, including while communicating with us during the off-season."
