Crewe Alexandra Women are delighted to confirm the signing of central defender Caitlin Bradbury.
The technical ball-playing centre-back can play anywhere in the back four as well as the holding midfielder role.
Bradbury played for Port Vale at youth level before making the move to Crewe Alexandra Women's youth setup, where she thrived earning a move to Derby County. At the Rams, she picked up the Under-16 Player of the Season award prompting Fisher to make the move to bring her back into the first-team fold.
Bradbury is Fisher’s 4th summer signing but the first defensive recruit in what is shaping up to be an exciting team.
On the move, Bradbury said: “I’m really excited to be here and test myself within the first-team. I’ve done well personally within the youth system but I feel now is the time to make that transition to open age.
“I met with Matt and the girls and they’ve been fantastic. I’m here to push myself and hopefully the team hit our targets.”
Head coach, Fisher followed up with: “We’re very happy that we’ve managed to bring Caitlin in.
"She had a number of options from really good clubs, but she believes in what we’re doing here and more importantly for her that we have a proven track record of improving players.”
