Keeper Tom Booth has rejoined Nantwich Town on loan until the end of the season.
The first-year professional proved a big hit at Swansway Stadium earlier this term, making 13 appearances for the Dabbers.
Booth was recalled by Crewe earlier this month when Arthur Okonkwo returned to Arsenal, and he was on the bench for the Alex’s draw at Mansfield.
However, boss Lee Bell has now signed keeper James Beadle on loan from Brighton to provide competition to number one Dave Richards, and allow Booth to gain more experience on loan.
The 18-year-old will rejoin Nantwich as they prepare for the visit of Stalybridge Celtic tomorrow (Saturday).
Everybody at Crewe Alexandra would like to wish Tom and Nantwich all the very best for the rest of 2022-23.
