The Football Club can confirm young defender Lewis Billington will be joining Leek Town on a short-term loan.

The deal comes at a perfect time for the youngster, who will look to develop further during his time with Crewe Alexandra legend Neil Baker.

The Staffordshire based side are in action today against 1874 Northwich, where the 18-year-old is set to feature.
