Crewe Alexandra have to make home advantage count when Accrington Stanley visit tomorrow (Saturday, 3pm).
That’s according to Manager Lee Bell, who says his players must harness the energy of the crowd to notch a first win in December.
But he warned it will not be easy against a Stanley side who sit 10th in League Two.
Bell said: “We enjoy playing at home and the fans have been great – we've given them something to cheer about. We have to draw on that.
“Accrington are a good team and well organised. They are high-energy and aggressive, and it is brilliant for them to be where they are in the table after a relegation.
“That shows the character in that group so it will be a tough game. But we are hopeful that we can put on a performance and get the result.”
