Lee Bell is hoping for more superb backing from Crewe Alexandra supporters when they play back-to-back games at Mornflake Stadium.
The Manager was full of praise for the fans who stuck by the players throughout the FA Cup exit at the hands of Bristol Rovers.
Crewe trailed 4-0 by the 49-minute mark but the loyal following noisily supported the team and inspired an improvement which yielded two goals.
Now, with The Railwaymen set to entertain Accrington Stanley (Saturday, 3pm) and Barrow (Friday, December 16, 7.45pm), the boss is hopeful of more good atmospheres.
Bell said: “The fans have been brilliant, they really have. Let’s hope they don’t see too many more goals like that (against Rovers) go in against us.
“We wanted to make it exciting and keep the crowd involved and we could maybe have pinched another goal. They’ve been brilliant.”
John Coleman’s Accrington side sit 10th in League Two and will start the game six points and five places below the Alex. Click here to purchase your tickets.
Crewe Alexandra have slashed prices to £10 (adults), £5 (under 18s) and FREE (11 and under) for the visit of third-placed Barrow. Click here to purchase your tickets.
