Crewe Alexandra Women have completed the signing of forward Emily Cole from Everton Academy.

The 16-year-old, who boasts an impressive scoring record at youth level, has joined on a Dual Registration as she looks for first team experience.

Head Coach Matt Fisher said: “We’re delighted to bring Emily in.

“She has unbelievable potential and has so much pace and athleticism as well as being a super finisher.

“She’s trained well with the girls and we are looking forward to supporting her development.

“I can’t thank Katie from Everton enough - she has been fantastic in enabling this deal to go through.”

Cole, who has recently returned from a training camp with Wales Under-17s, impressed in Crewe’s pre-season victory over National League side Sutton Coldfield.

Crewe’s new number 19 said: “I’m really looking forward to playing for Crewe and learning throughout the season.

“The girls have been great with me and I’m excited to take this opportunity and enjoy the season.”
