Assistant Manager, Lee Bell explains how he was pleased with Crewe Alexandra’s overall performance against Doncaster Rovers, but insists it must carry over into tomorrow (Tuesday 25 October) night's clash with AFC Wimbledon.
The Rovers equalised late into the game on Saturday after the Alex took an early lead through Courtney Baker-Richardson's header.
However, Bell felt there were several positives to take away from the performance, explaining how the team are improving and heading in the right direction towards that next victory.
Lee Bell said: “If we keep putting in performances we did like Saturday, I’m sure more people will appreciate it.
“We’ve gone over certain bits with the players this morning, in terms of how it looks better and why it’s looking better, so we’re pleased.”
Lee also explained how the Railwaymen’s performance is 'something to build on' and they will be looking to continue that at AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday night.
The Assistant Manager continued with: “Wimbledon have come off the back of a good result at the weekend and we’re looking forward to what will be another test for us.”
