Crewe boss Alex Morris says he is pleased with how his pre-season schedule looks and that a lot of planning went in to the different type of challenges the Railwaymen will face throughout July.
The Alex will face the likes of West Bromwich Albion, Rotherham United and Barnsley whilst facing the usual local non-league sides.
The boss went on to say: "We are really pleased with the pre-season programme that has been now finalised. On consecutive Saturday’s we’ve got Barnsley away at their training ground because it is early on in pre-season and their pitch won’t be ready. Then back at our place we’ve got West Brom."
He ended with: "We’ve got some really good non-league teams that we are going to visit early on in the schedule to allow the players to get back into playing mode again. There is a lot of variety there and whilst allowing us to try things and work on lots of different challenges."
