Manager David Artell says that the backroom reshuffle that has occurred at the club has been implemented for the long-term benefit of the Football Club.
Alex Morris has stepped up to assistant manager with Lee Bell replacing him as Under-23 manager. The long-serving Kenny Lunt has been appointed Player Development Manager.
Artell told the club’s website: “The changes have been made for the benefit of the club but that doesn’t necessary mean that the changes will be instant. It never really happens like that and if you change staff internally, it doesn’t necessary have that immediate effect.
“What we have done and will do is try and get the right people in the building in the right positions and help us improve in the long run.
He added: “We have conducted interviews this week with suitable people for the head of recruitment role and we will speak to another later in the week and make our decision based on that.”
