The Northern groups for the 2022/23 Papa John's Trophy have now been drawn.
Crewe have taken up a spot in Group B alongside Bolton Wanderers and Tranmere Rovers with a Premier League U21 side being added on Thursday 23 June at 11:30am.
The opening ties to take place week commencing 29 August.
