Crewe Alexandra are delighted to announce the loan signing of forward Lachlan Brook.

The 21-year-old Brentford man has arrived at Mornflake Stadium on a six-month loan deal to become Alex Morris’s sixth signing of the summer.

Lachlan, who hails from Southern Australia, came through the youth system at Adelaide United. He made his professional debut in 2017.

Capped by Australia at youth level, he was snapped up by Brentford in 2020 for an undisclosed fee.

The talented attacker, who can play anywhere across the front line, played for the Bees B team before being loaned back to Adelaine for the second half of last season.

Now Lachlan has joined The Railwaymen on a deal until January, and will be part of the squad for the final home friendly of the pre-season against Rotherham United tomorrow (Saturday, July 22, 3pm).
