Crewe Alexandra can confirm that the Football Club has mutually agreed to terminate the contract of central defender Terell Thomas.

Terell, 26, joined the Railwaymen in the summer transfer window on a 12-month contract, after leaving fellow League One side AFC Wimbledon.

London-born Thomas came with a wealth of experience and made his competitive debut for the Reds at the Kassam Stadium where the Alex faced Oxford United.

Despite making 16 appearances earlier on in his stay, the 6ft 3 defender saw his opportunities reduced due to the emergence of Academy youngster Zac Williams
