Crewe Alexandra are delighted to announce the loan signing of Rekeem Harper. The 21-year-old Ipswich Town man has penned a deal until the end of the season at Mornflake Stadium.

Rekeem, who represented England at U17 and U19 level, is a box-to-box midfielder who came through the academy at West Brom.

He made one Premier League appearance for the Baggies before a spell on loan at Blackburn Rovers in 2017-18.

Back at The Hawthorns, he helped Albion win promotion from the Championship the following season and then made two further top-flight appearances, taking his tally for the club to 41 outings, before a loan switch to Birmingham City last term.

In the summer Ipswich paid a substantial undisclosed fee for his services and Rekeem has made 15 appearances for the club.

Now the 6ft 2ins player has joined forces with David Artell’s men.
