David Artell has told the club’s official website that ‘we know the situation we are in’ and appreciate the need to get some new players in before the closure of the January transfer window.
The Crewe Alexandra boss and his staff are working hard on potential targets and remain confident of getting some of them over the line before the window shuts on Monday, January 31st.
Crewe have today allowed defender Donervon Daniels to depart for Walsall after mutually deciding to cancel his contract.
The Alex manager told the club’s official website: “We know the situation and it has been the past three or four games that we have relied on having three or four scholars on the bench or on the pitch.
“Now although they are going to be very good players, some of them are not quite ready. They are getting there and in the meantime they need some help and at the moment the Football Club and the team need some help and that means getting some players into help.”
