Crewe Alexandra manager David Artell admits that the departure of Donervon Daniels to Walsall may not be the end of outgoings at the club during the January window.
Defender Daniels, 28, joined the Saddlers after mutually agreeing with the club to terminate this contract and Artell says there could be room for manoeuvre for others, who have been short of game time of late.
Artell admitted to the club’s official website: “I’ve had conservations with other players, not just Donervon. I think he respected my honesty with him and chose to get fixed up now rather than wait for the summer.
“I have spoken to others about all sorts of different things, but those conservations will remain private.
“We have got more to do to bring in players and that is what our focus remains on at the moment.”
