David Artell has reiterated to his Crewe Alexandra squad that there are still enough games for us escape relegation and only the collective group can turn it around in the remaining 15 games.
Crewe travel to North West neighbours Wigan Athletic this evening, looking for a first win in seven games after suffering five straight defeats and a goalless home draw with Shrewsbury Town.
The Alex boss told the club’s official website: “We spoke to the players and told them that there is a third of the season still to play. There are still enough points to play for and for us to turn things around.
He added: “We told them that the only people in that room who can turn it around is them. It has to be all of us together and we have to roll our sleeves up and show that fight and make sure we give the best of ourselves in every game. It is going to be tough but we have to give it our all. “
