Porter aiming to shake off Achilles injury to appear before the end of the campaign.
Veteran striker Chris Porter has missed the club’s last two fixtures with a sore Achilles.
The 38-year-old forward has scored six goals this season from his 41 appearances this season, many of which have come as an impact substitute.
It is hoped that the former Sheffield United and Derby County forward will be fit enough to appear again this season.
Interim assistant manager, Lee Bell, told the club’s official website: “Chris has been struggling with a minor injury. He has a bit of a sore Achilles and we have been managing that.
“It is nothing too serious at all but he knows his body better than anyone and knows when it needs looking after. We are assessing it daily and we will see if he can have some involvement in the last couple of games.”
