Interim Crewe boss Alex Morris says that every opponent throws up different challenges and he is flexible to changing his personnel if he feels his game plan can be executed better.
Crewe travel to Sheffield Wednesday this evening aiming to be take something from the game and build on Saturday’s encouraging 3-1 win over AFC Wimbledon.
Morris told the club’s official website: “Every game is different and presents different challenges. If that means changing the personnel or system to execute a different game plan then I would. That is all about being a manager and getting the best out of our players but I am also for consistency and rewarding good performances as well.
“It is about getting that balance right and it is important to keep that consistency and momentum going. Our aim is to end this mini-run of four games is to win them all. On our form this season that seems unlikely but that has to be the objective and we will go to Hillsborough in the mind-set that we can be competitive and upset the odds.”
