Morris says Saturday was an uplift but we quickly move on to Owls challenge.
Alex Morris says it was a great day for everyone involved with the Football Club on Good Friday, but he was quick to reiterate that ‘we have cracked nothing’ after ending a run of eight home games without a win with a deserved 3-1 win over AFC Wimbledon.
The club’s interim boss told the club’s official website: “It was a great day for everyone involved with the club. There was more on the gate than usual and that was very pleasing and the fans were fantastic for us and the players. The reception we all got before the game and then when we needed them in the game, helped galvanise the performance.
“We had ex-players coming back to support and it was great to see so many old faces and you could sense the positivity and now is important to start to build on that momentum and work just as hard in the remaining three games of the season.
He added: “We have cracked nothing. It is only a start, a foundation and it will be a different game away at Hillsborough.”
