Interim assistant manager, Lee Bell, has revealed to the club’s official website that forward Dan Agyei is making good progress from injury and could yet feature again this season.
The former Oxford United, who has scored one goal in four appearances, since signing in January, has not featured since early March and the home defeat against Portsmouth.
It is hoped that the 24-year-old will be able to participate in full contact training again shortly and make himself available before the end of the season, which ends against Lincoln City at the end of the month.
Lee Bell told the club’s official website: “We have spoken to Dan and to the physio and he is making really good progress, which is good news. We will have to see how he is but we are hopeful that we could see him again before the end of the season.
“This weekend may be too soon but he has worked hard and we will see how that develops.”
