David Artell has told the club’s official website that although the club do not have a fixture this weekend, the hard work will continue out on the training ground.
Crewe’s home game against Doncaster Rovers has been postponed due to International call-ups and it gives Artell and his staff more time 'to get work into the squad.'
Artell told crewealex.net: “We have a free week with no game on Saturday nor on the Tuesday, so it is a good chance for us to get more work into them. They need the coaching and the arms around them because we need to be doing better. That’s all of us and everyone gets that.
“We are making small steps towards that and the training will be tough. They will get their rest and recovery as well but they know that this is a good time to work on things in training and strive to get better.”
Crewe Alexandra’s next fixture will be an away trip to Fleetwood Town on 16th October.
