Crewe Alexandra defender Billy Sass-Davies played the full 90 minutes as Wales Under-21 side suffered a successive qualifying defeat to an impressive Holland side in Nijmegen.
Paul Bodin’s side were beaten 5-0 by the Dutch - a result that leaves their chances of qualifying for the European Championships hanging by a thread from a difficult Group E.
Sass-Davies has now amassed five caps at Under-21 level after also coming on as a late substitute in the 1-0 defeat to Moldova.
Wales face Gibraltar away on 11 November before they host group leaders Switzerland at Newport's Rodney Parade four days later.
