Crewe Alexandra are pleased to announce we have donated the sponsorship of our FA Cup sleeve to the Wingate Centre.

The Wingate Special Children's Trust is a charity based in Wrenbury which offers recreational and residential facilities for children and young adults with special educational needs and disabilities.

For more than 30 years the charity has supported young people running inclusive sport, recreation, and residential activities with the aim of improving their health and wellbeing and developing a stronger sense of self.

Now their logo will be on the sleeves of Alex players when they line up against Swindon Town this weekend. Following the FA Cup first round tie, the match shirts will be auctioned off with all proceeds going to The Wingate Centre.

Head of Commercial at Crewe Alexandra, James Beckett said: “We’re delighted to be partnering with The Wingate Centre. As a proud member of the local community we are pleased to support several local charities and we hope this new partnership will raise funds and make a difference.

The Wingate Centre's, Rhiannon Vine said: “We would like to thank Crewe Alexandra Football Club for their continued support. This support will enable us to continue the work the charity does, brightening the lives of those living with disabilities.”
