Forward making quick progress from groin strain
David Artell has told the club’s official website that it is good news over forward Christopher Long.
The former Everton and Burnley man suffered a groin strain early on in our game against Doncaster Rovers and had to be withdrawn.
Artell said that the early substitution was precautionary at the time and it appears that the cautionary measure could see the 26-year-old back ahead of schedule.
Artell told us: “With Chris, we didn’t want to take any chances with him and I said at the time that it was half precautionary when I made the decision to take him off.
“He is okay. He is fine and it is nothing too serious, which is good news.”
