Over the past couple of days, the Club has been made aware that some of our supporters are planning to welcome the players to the Alexandra Stadium on Sunday ahead of our last Sky Bet League One fixture of the season against Shrewsbury Town.
The Club, players and staff have all appreciated your unwavering and unbelievable support throughout this incredibly challenging season, which has been even harder without your voices in the stands, but we please ask that you respect government guidelines.
The safety of Crewe Alexandra's staff and families, the officials, the players and staff of our visiting team, along with our local community, remains of vital importance to us and that is why Sunday's game will be once again played behind close doors.
