Crewe Alexandra defender Donervon Daniels is set to join up with Montserrat for their World Cup qualifers’ against US Virgin Islands and Grenada at the beginning of June.

The former Wigan, Luton and Blackpool man will team up with the Emerald Boys for the World Cup double-header and the 27-year-old has continued to keep himself fit by attending sessions at the club’s training ground.

Montserrat have the likes of Rohan Ince, Nathan Pond, Dean Mason, Massiah McDonald in their squad and have gradually improved from their humble beginning. They recently held El Salvador to a 1-1 draw in a World Cup qualifier in March.
