Crewe Alexandra are delighted to announce that Chris Porter has signed a new one-year deal keeping him at the football club until 2022.

Porter, 37, joined the Railwaymen back in May 2017 and the experienced striker has gone on to clinch the top goalscorer award twice during his time with the club, scoring 48 goals in the process.

The Wigan-born forward has enjoyed a successful spell with the Alex having clinched promotion back in 2020 and he will now prepare for the 2021/22 campaign.

The club has also agreed to help Chris on his coaching journey by allowing him access to our academy teams.
