Crewe Alexandra would like to announce that the club will be playing Stoke City’s first team in a pre-season Charity Match for our young academy goalkeeper Ashton Hulme.
The fixture will take place on Tuesday 20 July, 7pm, at The Alexandra Stadium, with both clubs donating proceeds towards Ashton Hulme’s recovery.
Crewe Alexandra Chairman Charles Grant said: “Ashton’s story has inspired us all, not just in the local area but the footballing family around the country. We are obviously delighted that our neighbours are joining us at Gresty Road in the Charity Match which will raise valuable funds for Ashton’s recovery.”
Tickets for the Charity Match will be available to purchase from Monday 5 July when details will be released in accordance with the government’s guidelines.
