Crewe Alexandra’s assistant manager, Kenny Lunt, says there will be no respite in the club’s quest to keep the pressure on those above them in the League One table.
Another of the promotion chasing pack, Doncaster Rovers, arrive in South Cheshire this evening aiming for three away points. The Alex will be aiming to bounce back following Saturday’s disappointing 3-0 defeat at Lincoln.
Lunt told the club’s official website: “There are 13 games to go and there is plenty to play for. There is always something on a game when you are a professional footballer and we want to win every game we are involved in.
“It is a good league, a really competitive league and none of our players will ever take anything for granted. You can’t because you will quickly get found out.
“We will knuckle down. Work as hard as we have done all season and see where that takes us. We want to get as high as possible and if we can win the majority of the games then we could yet get enough points to take us where we want to be.
“All the games are tough and present different challenges and Doncaster will be the same.”
