Finney rehab continuing at Manchester Institute

Midfielder Oli Finney has made tentative steps to run again in his rehabilitation.

Finney, 23, has attended the Manchester Institute of Health & Performance his week to work on the resistance treadmill.

The Staffordshire based youngster had been in fine form, scoring 8 goals in 31 appearances from midfield before breaking his leg against Shrewsbury Town in early January.

Finney has been wearing a supportive boot but has been relieved to have that taken off and enjoy jogging again in Manchester.

Meanwhile, David Artell has revealed that midfielder, Josh Lundstram, is still four to five weeks away after suffering a fracture of the ankle back in late September. The 22-year-old had made five appearances in all competitions.
