David Artell has revealed that his side will be resting their feet this week with no game on the horizon at the weekend. The Railwaymen were set to face Charlton Athletic on Saturday 27 March, but due to a number of International call-ups in the opposition camp, the game has been postponed until April 27th.
The gaffer told crewealex.net: “It is what it is. With the number of games, we have played in a condensed amount of time, I would say any break is welcome. I could say one answer, or I could say the complete opposite. Time will tell is the truth of it.“
He continued with: “The players will have a number of days off their feet this week so they can rest physically and fully recoup mentally before coming back in later on in the week. Then they will be back in next week ready for the Easter fixtures and the final 10 games of the season.”
