David Artell believes that our destiny remains very much in our own hands if we can produce a consistent run in the last 10 games of the season.
Crewe return to action against league leaders, Hull City, on Good Friday and Artell says it is now business time as we enter the exciting run-in.
The Alex still have an outside chance of the play-off places after what has been a successful return to League One.
Artell told the club’s official website: “There is a mini-league of 10 games and there is still all to play for.
“I went to see Gillingham at Hull and they have been on a great little run under Steve (Evans) and everyone is talking about them perhaps making the play-offs. That is how easy it is but putting that five game winning run together is tough in this league.
“Not many can do it but it is there for us. There are 10 games left and we have to try and win as many as we can and see where that can take us.
“If we can win the majority of them and pick up some draws then who knows.
He added: “I know there will be about another 10 teams thinking the same thing as us and we know it will be tough but we will give it our best shot.”
